A hybrid chicken is bred from two different breeds to bring together good traits. You get a bird that is often hardy, friendly, and a reliable egg layer. They are a great choice if you want easy care and regular eggs.
Our point-of-lay chickens are usually around 16 to 18 weeks old. That gives them time to settle in before they start laying. Some breeds may begin a little sooner, so you may see eggs not long after they arrive.
We recommend a flock of at least 3 birds. Chickens are happier with company, and you are more likely to get steady eggs from a small flock. We do not sell single birds, so please plan for a group.
You can reserve your birds by email or through our contact form. You collect them from our farm, and we give you the exact location when you order. We accept cash or card at collection. If you are unsure about stock, just get in touch and we will help.
